My First Blog From The Tree Top!

A cold winter afternoon..few birds chirp these days... declining trend of sorts. I remember waking up to the various vivid sounds around me at my grandparents place in west Delhi-dominated by the twittery sounds of the sparrows and the wierd muffled ones of the pigeons.

Why of all topics do i dedicate my very first blog to the sounds that birds make? This is why:
1-It was the first topic that occured to me(call me wierd or a dreamer lost in the irrevalant)
2-I now hear the unpleasant sounds of saws and hammers in the morning(originating from the construction thats in full swing.. bang opposite my house)
3-People around me have become so self-centered and 'busy' that they have definately lost their ability to concentrate on little things that matter.
4-I recently read "Gulliver's Travel's" by Jonathan Swift..now Swift's contempt and disgust towards mankind is contagious-Gulliver actually goes on to favour horses over mankind..

This is not another stand against mankind if you think so. Its how i feel right now. Im a 'people's person' and in support of this argument i have profiles on Orkut and Facebook(two very famous socialising networks) apart from many friends. Call it the 'Swift effect' or whatsoever-at this point of time im disgusted with many people and their actions. When i think about all the people who repell me at this very moment-there are so many who come to mind.
1-The constructors everywhere(somehow i can't figure out the exact reason but im just plain mad at them because i believe that they are to blame for driving away the birds )
2-The rapists everywhere-here i credit a newspaper article i read in the morning that made me really angry(What pleasure is there in commiting such a horrific crime?)
3-A few 'friends'-because i have to add inverted comma's to the word friends everytime i refer to them!

The person reading this post at the moment is probably wondering-how birds fit into all of this...irrelavant? Well that's my point..try focussing on the irrelavant sometimes(Its a full-time job in my case..and im not complaining)..however complicated it may seem-it definately has me sorted!
